Some summits around Obergurgl and Vent are a long way from the valley. A hut approach on day one shortens the summit climb and lets us save energy for the following morning. Enjoy an evening high above the valley, watch the light fade over the peaks and set out early, before the sun returns. Two days give us more time for the mountain and the moment.

Stay in the high mountains a little longer. On a multi-day traverse, we set out by headlamp, feel crampons bite into the ice and watch dawn unfold over the peaks.
