Avalanche safety

Clothing
- Functional base layer and warm mid-layer

Introductory day tour.
Bring the essential equipment listed above in a comfortable 25–35 litre ski-touring backpack.
- No hut equipment required
- No glacier equipment required for the Schönwieskopf
- Ski crampons only when advised for the chosen tour
- A small change of base layer is useful for the descent
