Granatenkogel
3,304 mA hidden classic high above the Ferwall Valley with a steep 400-metre face for very strong skiers.

The tour
What to expect.
This beautifully shaped summit offers a fantastic high-alpine tour and wide views across the glaciated peaks of the Ötztal Alps and the entire touring area west of Obergurgl.
Using the Festkogel lift saves around 500 vertical metres of piste ascent and starts the day with a 200-metre descent. For strong steep-skiing groups, a short walk from the Plattach lift can add a 400-metre couloir into the Ferwall Valley, creating around 2,000 metres of descent for 1,000 metres of ascent.
The steep summit descent is reserved for very good, experienced skiers and requires reliably safe conditions.
A private full-day tour, adapted to the group and conditions.
