6 daysA major high-alpine traverse linking the Schalfkogel, Similaun, Weißkugel, Fluchtkogel and Wildspitze.

The tour
What to expect.
This six-day journey crosses the heart of the Ötztal Alps from Obergurgl to Vent. It is designed for experienced ski tourers with strong fitness, reliable technique and an appetite for long days in glaciated terrain.
After reaching the Langtalereck Hut on day one, we cross the Schalfkogel to the Martin Busch Hut. The following stages link the Similaun, Weißkugel and Fluchtkogel before the final ascent of the Wildspitze and descent to Vent.
Several days involve 1,000 to 1,500 vertical metres of ascent and up to 1,900 metres of descent. Weather, snow and hut logistics may require changes to the precise programme.
Private guiding with overnight hut stays.
The exact programme is adapted to weather, snow and the group.
The best period depends on snow cover and the chosen objective.
Transceiver, shovel and probe. Additional technical equipment when required.
Good to know
The mountain decides.
The final route, summit and group size may change with snow cover, weather, avalanche conditions and the current ability of every guest.
