The tour
What to expect.
After the approach to the Langtalereck Hut on day one, the summit day leads via the Ackerlen and the Seelenferner towards the main alpine ridge.
We continue over the Wasserfallferner and finish with a short ascent on foot to the summit. The standard descent offers excellent open skiing; in excellent conditions, experienced groups may traverse and descend the steep Wasserfallferner into the Rotmoos Valley.
The ascent from the hut takes approximately three and a half to four hours, covers around 1,175 vertical metres and a distance of about 7.5 kilometres.
