Hochwilde from Langtalereck Hut
3,461 mA long and scenic glacier tour with an exciting final summit and an outstanding panorama across the Ötztal Alps.

The tour
What to expect.
On the first day we tour from Obergurgl to the Langtalereck Hut. The ascent takes around three hours and covers approximately 600 vertical metres over 6.5 kilometres.
On summit day we continue via the Langtalerferner or Gurgler Ferner and the Annajoch. A secured but exposed final section leads to the summit of the Hochwilde, where the panorama extends deep into the Ötztal and South Tyrolean mountains.
The summit day takes approximately five to five and a half hours on the ascent, with 1,150 to 1,450 vertical metres depending on the chosen route and its counter-ascent.
Private guiding with overnight hut stays.
The exact programme is adapted to weather, snow and the group.
The best period depends on snow cover and the chosen objective.
Transceiver, shovel and probe. Additional technical equipment when required.
