The tour
What to expect.
The Zirmkogel is a classic spring ski tour, although it can also be possible in midwinter when avalanche conditions are favourable.
A very steep initial slope requires solid skinning technique on the ascent and reliable ski technique on the descent. The long climb gains approximately 1,400 vertical metres and demands good fitness.
Several descent variants offer excellent skiing, with the final line chosen according to snow quality, avalanche conditions and the ability of the group.
A private full-day tour, adapted to the group and conditions.
Depending on the chosen start and route variant.
From the stated starting point to the summit.
Transceiver, shovel and probe. Additional technical equipment when required.
Good to know
The mountain decides.
The final route, summit and group size may change with snow cover, weather, avalanche conditions and the current ability of every guest.
